About YesWeTest
YesWeTest is a free website for checking game controllers in the browser: racing wheels, pedals, flight sticks, HOTAS setups and gamepads. We built it because the questions sim racers, virtual pilots and gamers ask about their hardware are usually simple: does this button work, does this pedal reach 100%, why does my car pull to the left? The answers, however, are scattered across forums, manuals and manufacturer tools.
What we do
- Tools: five tests that read your device through the browser's Gamepad API and turn the raw values into clear checks, such as full lock reached, rest value, drift in percent and buttons tested.
- Guides: step-by-step help that starts from what the tests show and explains the causes and fixes in plain language.
- Languages: the whole site is available in English, German, Spanish and Turkish.
How the tests work, and what they don't do
Every test runs locally in your browser. Your device's inputs are read on your computer and are never sent to us. The tests can only see what the browser exposes: buttons, axes and, for some controllers, vibration. They can't send force feedback, change device settings or update firmware, and we say so on each tool page. When a fix needs the manufacturer's software, our guides say that clearly.
How we write our guides
- We describe causes and fixes that apply to a wide range of devices and explain how to confirm them with a test, rather than guessing from a single symptom.
- For settings that differ between brands, we refer to the manufacturer's own software and manuals instead of quoting values that may change with a driver update.
- We don't recommend opening devices that are still under warranty, and we flag any step that can void it.
- We update guides when browsers, drivers or common devices change. Each guide shows the date it was last updated.
Independence
YesWeTest is independent. We aren't affiliated with or sponsored by Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec, MOZA, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo or any other manufacturer, and no manufacturer reviews our content before it's published. The site is funded by advertising, shown according to our privacy policy.
